The Creperie

Designing the brand and interior for The Creperie, a restaurant situated on Brighton seafront that offers iconic French cuisine complimented by the best in local British produce.

Working in partnership with long-time collaborator Michael Hillman, we aimed to create a brand that brings together French and English culture in a playful manner. The stripes in the logo reflect this concept – British seaside decor and chic French fashion.

With this clear starting point we developed a brand system that combines clean, sophisticated design with colourful, playful illustrations. This concept informed our vision for the look and feel of the restaurant interior, printed collateral and website.

Designing every touchpoint

We flowed our brand system throughout the restaurant interior, paying attention to detail at every touch point. We created limited edition Creperie prints, curated the shelving units with sourced objects from France, and designed custom wallpaper that tied in with the napkins.

The brand application extended online, where we designed the responsive website for The Creperie.

Our client is delighted with our delivery of a truly unique and memorable customer experience. He now has plans to expand into a second restaurant, and has even started marketing homemade Creperie ingredients and products on site!
