Remembering Sudan

Illustration, awareness campaign

Following the passing of Sudan, the last male Northern White Rhino, Under the Skin created a unique screen print to pay tribute to this species bound for extinction.

The limited edition artwork is finished with a layer of phosphorescent ink which reveals a rhino skeleton under UV light; all that remains when a species falls into the darkness of extinction. 20% of proceeds go to Ol Pejeta Conservancy who care for the two remaining female rhinos.

An ambassador for his species

20% of proceeds go to Ol Pejeta Conservancy who are caring for the last two remaining female rhinos. Ol Pejeta’s CEO said:

“He was a great ambassador for his species and will be remembered for the work he did to raise awareness globally of the plight facing not only rhinos, but also the many thousands of other species facing extinction as a result of unsustainable human activity.”
