Pelican t-shirt


Creating a unique t-shirt design for Pelican's relaunched imprint and brand image.

This year Penguin Books revealed the new identity for its relaunched Pelican imprint, a continuation of the bird in flight as used on the series’ covers in the late 1930s. I was one of four artists commissioned to create a design that ‘captures the essence of the fun, distinct and accessible Pelican brand’.

The t-shirt set, screen printed by clothing label Super Superficial, were displayed with the imprint in the Covent Garden shop window, and made an appearance on It's Nice That and Design Week.
