Brand identity and motion design for Dots, a conference all about connecting ideas in new ways.
Hosted by Brilliant Noise, Dots brought together speakers from organisations such as Google and GOV.UK to talk about innovation and connecting ideas from outside of your field.
Working under the creative direction of Ben Aquilina, we developed a brand based upon energy released through 'unexpected connections'. I applied the visual identity across the conference lanyards, wayfinding and posters.
Following the theme of ‘connecting ideas’, I created a series of animated 'stings' which were looped on the conference big screen between the talks.
Brilliant Noise crowdsourced notes using Artefact cards, and made them available for attendees to download after the conference.
Bringing together all of these key touch points (before, during and after the conference) reinforced the concept of 'connectivity' in a unified and memorable experience. The whole event was a great success and I look forward to contributing to brand of Dots in 2015.
